This website is called The Magick School, which implies I have many important lessons to teach you.

There is no truth in that. ‘..no man can reveal to you aught but that which already lies half asleep in the dawning of your knowledge..’ (Khalil Gibran, The Prophet).

I am no spiritual teacher and you will learn nothing from me. I work on you by working on myself. Healing is not something you do. It’s something you are.

"A Course in Miracles" is difficult to get to grips with for many and I have seen many people put up walls against the Christian language. I think the point is that we are all supposed to create our own understanding of it. As my favourite poet, the mystical Kahlil Gibran says;

‘…each one of you (must) be alone in his knowledge of God and his understanding of the Earth.’

(I quote him a lot!)

I sometimes find it hard to remember what I’ve read and so, when I got a few chapters into the course, which I started reading in April 2008, I started writing down my own ‘translation’ or ‘interpretation’ of the text. Remember that it is my understanding.
I publish my somewhat simple comprehension of our mother-father God here today.

Why?

Have you ever learnt who you didn’t want to be?

I have and it has only pushed me further into a new understanding of myself.
When you release every pre-held notion of yourself and let God tell you who you are instead, only then will you walk your path without doubt and hesitation and with your head held high.

This is not my full time work so I am sure that those of you who do know A Course in Miracles can appreciate the big job I have on my hands to write out entire chapters and so the site will not be constantly updated. Instead, I will post new chapters when I can which may be every two months or so. In between times, why not do the lessons from the book?

Also, I must inform you that you are not going to find a page about me on this site because we all have to start to practise looking within in order to truly know others. Look for me in that mirror hanging on your wall.

You can read this content with or without knowledge of A Course in Miracles. All you require is an open mind.

I do not advise you to Google information about A Course in Miracles if you have never heard of it before because lots of websites will come up that will give you differing view points about what the book means to them. The best way to find out more about it is to read it yourself to make up your own mind. Once again, if the book seems daunting to you, go straight into the lessons and they will tell you everything you need to know. 

I write in an affirmative way (looking back on it) and so most of it can be used for prayer.

Although you may think otherwise, "A Course in Miracles", and, may I add, the content of this site is in no way religious.

In fact, many would refer to me as Pagan or Witch. Sometimes when I am full of worry or conflicting thoughts, I take a moment to clarify to God, the goals that I am aiming for.

I make my intentions clear.
I infuse poetry and herbs to send out my prayers to God.
I swirl colours to paint my dreams into reality.
I pound the drum to align myself with the heart beat of the Earth and I elevate my body to sing silent hymns to the moon through dance.

The text appeals to all because it’s truth. It’s as simple as that. I think Jesus was a beautiful man, as Earthly as I am but it doesn’t matter if you feel differently. Those are just my feelings. For me he is the example. Not the exception.

And so I present to you my understanding of our mother-father God through a love story between Jesus and the witch.
